* The blue EYE picture on myspace, is that you?
Yes. It's an old picture of my face from '04. That was the year we became an original band. I've never photographed well so we had to make it all 'black and cool'

* How did you first come together as a band?
The guys bought instruments and jammed a few times before asking me to fill in. I auditioned a Weezer song through a handheld megaphone. We didn't even practice before going straight for the limelight. We setup a row of baby 10" practice amps in front of a barbor shop and played classic garage band tragedies like Smells Like Teen Spirit and Knocking on Heaven's Door. I sang through a cheap RadioShack PC mic plugged into a guitar amp for a few performances before my mom bought me a PA. Oh we were horrible really horrible but playing on the sidewalks was just too awesome to give up.

* Any ritual that you do to prepare for a gig?
I glob on lots of eye makeup to build a mask between me and the audience. I get really bad stage fright that begins the night before a show and doesn't go away until i've run off the stage.

* Any stage disasters?
There was one cover show at the Chinatown Fire House where I said 'fuck' between every mess up. I couldn't stop. It was like 'fuck, oh sorry children, fuck, sorry mothers, ugh, fuck'

* When is the next Flune show?
Well, I don't think there will ever be another show... just kidding... sort of. Tim and I are cooped up in the studio right now writing new songs. We literally only go outside to replenish groceries. Focusing on writing this album really fries the brain - I can't even think about touring yet, but I expect us to get out of it eventually. I want to say, Fall 2009? Hold your breath.
